A very sad day…..

Goodbye Sue. I am saddened, that I never knew you.

Your classmates may like to know your story.

It is time to create a info on yourself. A few folks who have contacted and said, I sure would like to know how some others are doing, where they live, what they like to do and more. You may be away, but your not forgotten. Would you would like to know other class members stories?

All you need to do is e-mail me your story and I will take care of the rest. Need a little help, look under the class members stories link on sidebar and follow the outlines of others.

To read our classmates stories click….> Class members stories. <

It would be greatly appreciated to receive a dollar or two to Donna’s SHS62 Cookie Jar Reunion Fund c/o:

Please visit all the links on sidebar or e-mail or make comment below to help answer any questions.

This is really your website. If you have any suggestions or like to have anything posted please let me know and I will be glad to do it.

For your info: The shs62 website has had at least 5200 views. It must have something to do with all the great classmates of the Elmira class of shs62. The website counter will be updated weekly.

You may ask why I manually update daily as apposed to doing automatically. I also receive other information of where and how page views have taken place. For instance there was two searches, one for Ronald Stadelmaier and one for James Ripley and a referral from Elmira.com.

  1. I’m constantly getting these post cards in the mail from supposedly the Elmira City School District with a return address in Chesapeake, Va. Is anyone else receiving these cards? It appears to be a scam to me. The cards are signed Julie Carr, Harris Connect Directory Office For Elmira City School District. They’re after personal information for ‘the Southside High School graduates directory’. I just throw them away.

  2. Hi Mike and all SHS class members.

I have been told this company has been hired by the Elmira School District to produce a book and sell records of past SHS class members.

I called there 800 number and talked to one of their representatives. He gave me the info on how I could purchase of what we have already accompolished.

I probably would guess that their SHS62 records are not any better rhan ours.

I think the merit they may have is, they may live on after we all decease, whatever that may be worth. Genelogy records?

It sounds like a boiler room operation to me.

  3. I received postcard from the same company. I called and they wanted to charge me anywhere from $49.95 up to $89.95 for the leather bound edition of the book containing all the SHS grads from the turn of the 20th century to the present. Why would I want to know who graduated in 1910? Who cares?
You are right,Ron, it sounds like a boileroom operation.
